On April 24th and 25th I will be walking in the Relay for Life event. This is for the American Cancer Society and I am proud to say our Baytown Relay has earned the distinction of being one of the largest money makers in Texas. This is very important to me as my Mother died of Cancer 27 years ago. Our daughter, Ann is a survivor of breast cancer. We walk to hopefully provide the funds to find a cure.We all have been touched in some way by cancer, so when the occasion arrives in your area, please donate. This is Lady Banks and is a thornless rose. Always a bouquet of sunshine in the spring.
I am follower of Christ,a devoted Daughter and wife, a very proud Mother of 4, Grandmother of 11, greatGrandmother of two, and prayers for another in the very near future. I am blessed with 3 daughters-in-law,and one son-in-law. I work part time as a Pharmacy Tech, love gardening and love to bake, especially pies.
I come to the garden alone, While the dew is still on the roses. And the voice I hear, falling on my ear, the Son of God discloses. And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own. And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known. He speaks and the sound of His voice is so sweet the birds hush their singing. And the melody that He gave to me, within my heart is ringing. And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own. And the joy we share as we tarry there none other has ever known. I'd stay in the garden with Him 'tho the night around me be falling. But He bids me go; through the voice of woe, His voice to me is calling. And He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own. And the joy we share as we tarry there none other has ever known
